The use and installation of a long arm excavator is a process involving professional operation and technical knowledge. As a kind of construction machinery, the long arm excavator is designed to expand the working scope and capacity of the standard excavator, especially for deep foundation excavation, high-rise building dismantling, ditch excavation and other projects. The following will detail the installation steps and precautions for the use of the extended arm excavator:
Because the extended arm is longer and heavier than the standard arm, the action inertia is greater, and the operation should be smooth and accurate to avoid sudden movement or emergency braking.
When working with the extended arm, it should be operated in accordance with the performance of the machine itself, and avoid working in hard soil or in a working environment that exceeds the design standards of the machine.
Use standard capacity bucket, it is strictly prohibited to replace the use of large capacity bucket, unless you have communicated with the professional manufacturer and upgraded the larger cylinder.
Regular inspection of the extension arm weld, pin and cylinder and other key components, timely lubrication and replacement of wear parts, to maintain the good working condition of the machine.
Make sure all necessary tools and equipment are on site, including tools such as cranes, wrenches, pins and wire.
Check that the extension arm assembly is intact and there are no damaged or missing parts.
Remove the bucket, bucket cylinder and connecting rod assembly at the front end of the arm of the excavator.
Securely remove the bucket cylinder and connecting rod assembly using the crane.
Push out the bucket rod cylinder rod head pin and fix the bucket rod cylinder with wire to avoid the cylinder rod slipping out.
Remove bucket rod cylinder using crane.
Align the arm seat and extension arm accurately, ensuring that the pin holes are aligned.
Use the crane to align the extended arm with the arm seat, and then install the arm seat pin.
Install the bucket rod cylinders in reverse order, making sure all pins and connectors are firmly in place.
Install the bucket cylinder and ensure that the bucket and connecting rod assembly are properly installed.
After all physical installation is completed, the hydraulic system is adjusted to ensure that there are no leaks and that all operations are normal.
Test the motion of the extended arm under no-load conditions to confirm that the operation is smooth and the movement of joints and cylinders is normal.
